Where is the password sent?
Nowhere. The PDF is unlocked by code running in your own browser. There's no server involved.
Do I need to remove the password first?
No. You don't need another tool to unlock it; just enter the password when prompted.
What if I forgot the password?
Banks usually build it from your date of birth or account details; check the email the statement came with. We can't recover it, since the file never reaches us.
