How to download your Discover statement as a PDF
- Log in to your Discover account at discover.com or in the Discover app.
- Open the statements section of the Account Center for your card or bank account.
- Choose the statement period and open it, then download or print it to PDF. Paperless customers can see several years of past statements.
Then drop the PDF in the box above, or click it to choose the file.
What you get
Discover card statements list transactions with a date, a merchant description and an amount, grouped into payments and credits, purchases, and fees and interest, with no running balance. The converter reads each dated line with an amount, so you get Date, Description, Amount with the sign as printed. Summary lines such as totals are skipped. Discover bank account statements with a balance column also get a Balance column and the running-balance check.
Discover's website can also download recent card activity as a spreadsheet file. That is the easiest route when it covers what you need. Use the converter for statement PDFs you already have, such as past years saved for taxes or budgeting.
How it works, and what it can't do
OfflineStatement is a general reader for text-based PDF statements: it finds the transaction table by its column headings and turns each dated row into a spreadsheet row. It was not built with or tested by Discover, and statement layouts change, so check the result against the PDF. Where the statement prints a running balance, every row is checked against it and rows that don't add up are highlighted. Scanned or photographed statements (images, not text) are not supported. Password-protected PDFs work: you type the password and it stays on your device.
Open the CSV in Excel, Google Sheets or QuickBooks
Excel: double-click the CSV, or use Data > From Text/CSV. Google Sheets: File > Import > Upload, then choose the CSV. QuickBooks Online: the bank-upload CSV needs Date, Description and Amount; Pro exports exactly that format (see PDF to QuickBooks), or you can trim the free CSV to those columns.

Is this an official Discover tool?
No. OfflineStatement is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Discover or its parent company.
Are payments shown as negative?
Amounts keep the sign printed on the statement. On most card statements, payments and credits carry a minus sign, so a SUM gives the change in balance.
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF is read by code running in your browser. There is no server that receives your file, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
Is it free?
