How to download your Monzo statement as a PDF
- Open the Monzo app (or Monzo on the web, if you use it).
- Go to the account and find the statements option (Monzo lists it under the account or its settings). Menu names change from time to time.
- Choose the period and PDF as the format, then save or share the file.

What you get
Monzo PDF statements usually show Date, Description, Amount and Balance, with money out as a negative amount and dates such as 12/09/2026. The converter recognises the Amount and Balance headings even with (GBP) in front, keeps each amount with its printed sign, and runs the balance check on every row. Pro's QuickBooks, Xero and OFX exports read numeric dates as day-first unless the statement clearly uses month-first dates.
The Monzo app can also export transactions as a CSV directly, which is the easiest route if you still have the account. The converter is for when you only have the PDF, for example a statement you downloaded for a landlord or mortgage application, or a closed account.
How it works, and what it can't do
OfflineStatement is a general reader for text-based PDF statements: it finds the transaction table by its column headings and turns each dated row into a spreadsheet row. It was not built with or tested by Monzo, and statement layouts change, so check the result against the PDF. Where the statement prints a running balance, every row is checked against it and rows that don't add up are highlighted. Scanned or photographed statements (images, not text) are not supported. Password-protected PDFs work: you type the password and it stays on your device.
Open the CSV in Excel, Google Sheets or QuickBooks
Excel: double-click the CSV, or use Data > From Text/CSV. Google Sheets: File > Import > Upload, then choose the CSV. QuickBooks Online: the bank-upload CSV needs Date, Description and Amount; Pro exports exactly that format (see PDF to QuickBooks), or you can trim the free CSV to those columns.

Is this made by Monzo?
No. OfflineStatement is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Monzo Bank Limited.
Does it work for pots or joint accounts?
Any Monzo statement PDF with a transaction table should convert. A PDF that covers several pots or accounts puts all rows in one file, and the balance check may flag the first row where one list ends and the next begins.
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF is read by code running in your browser. There is no server that receives your file, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
