How to download your PNC statement as a PDF
- Sign on to PNC Online Banking at pnc.com, or open the PNC Mobile app.
- Online: select Accounts, pick the account, then Statements and Documents. In the app: More in the bottom bar, then Statements and Documents, then Online statements.
- Choose the statement and select View PDF, then save the file.
Then drop the PDF in the box above, or click it to choose the file.
What you get
PNC checking and savings statements typically list activity in sections, for example deposits and other additions, checks and other deductions, with a daily balance summary. The converter picks up every dated line that has an amount and gives you Date, Description and Amount, plus Balance where one is printed on the transaction line. Summary and subtotal lines are skipped. Credit card statements, which have no running balance, come out as Date, Description, Amount.
PNC Online Banking also lets you export recent account activity. Use that when it covers the dates you need. The converter is for statement PDFs: past months, archived years (PNC keeps checking statements online for up to seven years), or files you were sent.
How it works, and what it can't do
OfflineStatement is a general reader for text-based PDF statements: it finds the transaction table by its column headings and turns each dated row into a spreadsheet row. It was not built with or tested by PNC, and statement layouts change, so check the result against the PDF. Where the statement prints a running balance, every row is checked against it and rows that don't add up are highlighted. Scanned or photographed statements (images, not text) are not supported. Password-protected PDFs work: you type the password and it stays on your device.
Open the CSV in Excel, Google Sheets or QuickBooks
Excel: double-click the CSV, or use Data > From Text/CSV. Google Sheets: File > Import > Upload, then choose the CSV. QuickBooks Online: the bank-upload CSV needs Date, Description and Amount; Pro exports exactly that format (see PDF to QuickBooks), or you can trim the free CSV to those columns.

Is this made by PNC?
No. OfflineStatement is an independent tool and not affiliated with or endorsed by The PNC Financial Services Group or PNC Bank.
The daily balance summary is a separate table. Is it included?
No. Only dated transaction rows with an amount become CSV rows. Check the row count against the PDF the first time, since layouts vary by account type.
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF is read by code running in your browser. There is no server that receives your file, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
Is it free?
