How to download your TD Bank statement as a PDF
- Log in to TD Bank Online Banking or the TD Bank app.
- Open the statements area for your account (look for Statements or Statements & Documents). Menu names differ between the website and the app and change from time to time.
- Pick the statement period and open or download the PDF. TD Bank keeps up to seven years of statements online.

What you get
TD Bank checking statements usually split activity into sections such as deposits, electronic payments and checks paid, followed by a daily balance summary. The converter is a generic table reader: each dated line with an amount becomes a row with Date, Description and Amount, and Balance is added when the transaction lines carry one. Section headings, subtotals and the daily balance table are not turned into rows. The free CSV keeps dates as printed; Pro's QuickBooks, Xero and OFX exports add the year.
This page is about TD Bank in the US. Canadian TD EasyWeb statements are also PDFs and may convert, but their layout differs, so check the result. If TD's own activity download covers the dates you need, that is the simplest route.
How it works, and what it can't do
OfflineStatement is a general reader for text-based PDF statements: it finds the transaction table by its column headings and turns each dated row into a spreadsheet row. It was not built with or tested by TD Bank, and statement layouts change, so check the result against the PDF. Where the statement prints a running balance, every row is checked against it and rows that don't add up are highlighted. Scanned or photographed statements (images, not text) are not supported. Password-protected PDFs work: you type the password and it stays on your device.
Open the CSV in Excel, Google Sheets or QuickBooks
Excel: double-click the CSV, or use Data > From Text/CSV. Google Sheets: File > Import > Upload, then choose the CSV. QuickBooks Online: the bank-upload CSV needs Date, Description and Amount; Pro exports exactly that format (see PDF to QuickBooks), or you can trim the free CSV to those columns.

Are payments and checks negative?
Amounts keep the sign printed on the statement. When withdrawals are listed in their own section without a minus sign, compare totals with the section subtotals on the PDF.
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF is read by code running in your browser. There is no server that receives your file, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
